Preseason Game 2 Against GSW: 5 Things to Look For

4.  Jordan Clarkson’s play.

Clarkson was very comfortable at either guard slot for the Lakers.  When he was acting as a role player, he was hitting shots from the perimeter while being opportunistic slashing to the basket.  When he was acting as a playmaker, he got a bit out of control, forced perimeter shots that he wasn’t comfortable with, and forced floating shots in the paint.  If Clarkson wants to see more time as the season progresses, he needs to show patience within his own talent, perfect his current skills, and develop playmaking skills down the line.
