2. Jeremy Lin is more comfortable offensively.
This time around, Lin didn’t get as many pick-and-roll situations with Ed Davis. He looked for his shot, especially with dribble penetration. He was a more effective finisher, and was able to draw fouls against the defense. He was more into his element as a scorer, and even showed a Nash-like probing of the defense off-the-dribble. That led to an easy lay up for him. More importantly, he’s doing a far better job taking care of the basketball. Through two games, he has 14 total assists on 2 turnovers.
