Conclusion

The Suns’ athleticism, deep shooting, and deep bench has now twice proven difficult for the Lakers to stop. With continued tweaks to their rotation, and possibly more contributions from Wayne Ellington, Ryan Kelly, and Xavier Henry, the Lakers may start to win some of these contests.

Kobe Bryant has no incentive to pass the ball. Scott needs to find combinations that will force the ball out his hands while improving their collective efficiency. The Lakers can’t continue to play this way, other players need to step up and do their share.

Its interesting to see a legend continue to amaze with his individual skill, but at this stage Kobe shouldn’t have to work this hard. Its no good for anyone.
