What would your starting lineup look like?
Patterson: My starting lineup would be Lin, Kobe, Wes, Davis, and Hill. I believe putting Davis in would give us three solid defensive players, to make up for the lack of defensive presence of Kobe and Lin. Also, bringing Boozer in off the bench would give us a very scary bench.
Between Nick Young, Boozer, and Wayne Ellington, our bench should have no problem coming in and staying in a game on the offensive end. Defensively, the bench will struggle, but having a bench that could score is a luxury itself.
Morales: My starting 5: Lin, Ellington, Kobe, Davis, Hill.
Sanchez: My ideal line up wouldn’t be much different than what the team has been doing. Jeremy Lin should be holding down the starting job as the team’s first point guard. Kobe Bryant is always starting, without question. Wesley Johnson is more of a three and D type of player, so there’s no use in having him come off the bench.
I think my only change would be to use Ed Davis as a starter, and bring Carlos Boozer from the bench to help improve the bench unit’s scoring, while improving the starting unit’s defense. My ideal lineup is: Jeremy Lin, Kobe Bryant, Wesley Johnson, Ed Davis and Jordan Hill.
Rude: I would make a couple changes to Scott’s lineup. I’d go Lin, Ellington, Bryant, Davis, Hill for now. If Wes does become a “new Wes Johnson” likes he’s vowed prior to Sunday’s game, then he can earn his starting role back. But after five straight losses, something has to change.
