Lakers: 5 Roster Moves To Help Salvage The Season

4. Sign Andrew Goudelock

This one has a bit of a question mark surrounding it, mainly because it’s uncertain what type of buy-out Goudelock has with his Euro league team.

We’ve talked about the possibility of signing Goudelock already, but it’s something that should seriously be considered. Goudelock is familiar with the Lakers and became a fan-favorite during his time in Los Angeles. In his last two games with the Lakers, he scored 20 and 14 points in the playoffs against the San Antonio Spurs, replacing Kobe Bryant on the roster following his Achilles injury.

Goudelock is known for his three-point shooting ability. He’s as knock-down a shooter as anyone in the league and plays a position the Lakers could use some help at as the point guard. The Lakers have been looking for a future point guard for a long while, and although Goudelock may not be that guy, he could be a role player for the future.

This move would obviously be dependent on the waiving of Price. If so, having a second unit of Clarkson and Goudelock coming off the bench together would bring lots of energy and shooting to a Lakers roster that could use both.
