Untradeables

12. Kobe Bryant

The man has bizarrely been included in trade rumors on Twitter and social media and even making it’s way to ESPN. The fact is, Bryant won’t be traded. Very few teams can afford Bryant and none of those teams are lining up bids. Even if they were, the Lakers aren’t dealing their superstar. He’s going down with the ship.

11. Robert Sacre
10. Ronnie Price

Nobody is lining up to take a end of the bench center and a washed up point guard. Sacre is an enjoyable bench guy who can keep up team morale, but nobody is going to give up an asset for that. Price was barely in the league last year and signed late in the off-season with the Lakers. All he’s done this year is prove why he wasn’t being signed prior to the Lakers.

9. Xavier Henry

Unfortunately, Henry has fallen quite far in light of his injuries that ended his season last year and kept him off the court for most of the off-season. After battling back to get back to NBA-shape, he can’t seem to get on the court. His trial in the D-League proved he still has the capabilities, but he can’t break into the rotation. With the Lakers working out a host of players in the coming days, Henry’s name has been mentioned as being on the chopping block.

8. Wesley Johnson

The only hope for a trade is to get a moron GM who thinks they can get the most out of Johnson’s essentially wasted potential. Maybe a coach who brought in Mike D’Antoni would swing a trade considering how well Johnson played in spurts last year. However, that seems incredibly unlikely and I’d be surprised if any team signs Johnson as more than an end-of-the-bench player next off-season.
