The grandest stage of them all for the NBA is Madison Square Garden, bar none. Since the 1970s when the Knicks last won their titles, MSG has been the mecca. The brightest lights with the biggest stars, when teams travel to New York City, there’s a level of anticipation and excitement.

Jordan’s 55-point game came on his return season, which unofficially signaled he was back. After struggling upon his return from retirement, Jordan went to Madison Square Garden to face the rival Knicks and dropped a double nickel.
