11. Ronnie Price

Ronnie Price is the definition of tanking.  After a hot stretch of three games, two of them against OKC and Golden State as Price averaged 15.5 points and made 7 threes, he is back to his old self.  An at best third string point guard talent, Price has failed to make a three point shot in 5 of his last 6 games.  Price was inserted into the starting lineup for his ability to space the floor, but has struggled of recent, and his three point percentage is down to 29%.

Let’s look at his recent game against the Pelicans: 27 minutes, 2 points, 0 field goals, and 2 assists.  His presence on the court is rarely felt, and he is another player who I would be surprised to see in a Lakers uniform at the start of next season.

With Kobe Bryant’s latest injury, the Lakers are going to need a play maker more than ever at the point guard position.  Jeremy Lin’s play making abilities are far more superior to that of Price’s, plus expect Jordan Clarkson to start seeing more minutes.  After starting almost the whole first half of the season, Price may half a rough second half of the season on the bench.
