The last player on this list is someone who has reportedly been on the trade market for nearly a year. Dating back to last year’s draft, the Lakers were rumored to be interested in MCW and the 76ers were rumored to be looking to deal him.

MCW would be an obviously big upgrade at the point guard position for the Lakers, who have suffered through the Steve Nash era and have resorted to starting Ronnie Price after Lin has failed to impress enough to take the starting point guard role. With MCW, the Lakers get a definitive point guard for the future.

It will come with a high price tag, though. Last year, the Lakers were rumored to deal the #7 pick for the Rookie of the Year. This year, the Lakers certainly wouldn’t part with their top five pick, which means they’d likely have to deal either Houston’s pick and another, or the Rockets’ pick and another asset. This could be one of the more difficult trades to pull off, though.
