Shaq Takes Shot At Lakers During Justin Bieber Roast

The Lakers had an early game against the Sixers yesterday. They ended up winning that game and that made Laker fans very mad. By beating the Sixers, the Lakers now have the fourth worst record in the NBA, which increased their odds of not keeping their pick if it lands outside the top five.

These last two seasons have been a disaster and the Laker fan base is hopeful that another high draft pick can come in and turn this franchise around. The pick is not expected to be the solution to all their problems, but a step in the right direction.

The Lakers have been one of the worst teams in the league these past two years, which is something unusual for this proud franchise. This year, the roster is compromised of players that are not very recognizable.

Shaquille O’Neal won three titles with the Lakers and now is part of the NBA on TNT crew. Yesterday, he was a a guest at Comedy Central’s Roast of Justin Bieber. On top of making fun of all the guest, including Bieber, Shaq also took the time to take a shot at his former team.

The starting five that took the floor against the 76ers is unrecognizable to the common basketball fan, so the joke makes a lot of sense. The Lakers have been decimated by injuries, so the team continues to sign players that are not house hold names.

O’Neal knows what it’s like to be part of this historic franchise, unfortunately the Lakers are trying to rebuild and it’s not going very well.
