Yes it’s the summer league, but Clarkson’s game winning put-back should not be ignored. Before we knew how good this second round draft pick would be, Clarkson showed early signs of potential with his success in the summer league. Sure it wasn’t an isolation dagger, but it was still a play that required some serious athleticism, as well as a high basketball IQ.  This play also shows one of Clarkson’s biggest strengths, rebounding.  Clarkson’s vertical allows him to be one of the better rebounders at his position, which can be huge in playoff basketball.
