3. Clarkson doesn’t back down to Russell Westbrook
During Russell Westbrook’s historic stretch, he encountered the 46th overall pick in the draft. Sure Westbrook may have one the matchup and the game, but Clarkson sure put up a fight. Clarkson finished with a career high 30 points, to go along with 7 assists and 4 rebounds. Although this game by Clarkson was spectacular, there was one play that stood out above all. Clarkson effectively split the double team and exploded the basket, showing complete confidence in his offensive game. Clarkson became the first Lakers rookie to score 30 points since 1995 (Eddie Jones).
