The Warriors are one win away from winning their first championship in 40 years. Today, LeBron will try to force a Game 7 by winning Game 6 in Cleveland, but the Warriors obviously want to avoid a final decisive game at all costs.

While we enjoy the final games of the NBA Finals, the Lakers are counting down the days until the draft and free agency. The fans can’t wait to find out which players will be wearing purple and gold next season.

The Lakers will add three new rookies in the NBA Draft and hopefully several free agents in July. The month of July will also give Laker fans an opportunity to watch the young promising core at the Las Vegas Summer League.

The Lakers tweeted out the official schedule:

The Las Vegas Summer League is an NBA fan’s dream. You get to see some of the best young players up close and personal for a reasonable price. Not only is it affordable, but the basketball games are very entertaining as most of the players are fighting for a roster spot.

The Lakers will have a good shot at competing for the Summer League title. Jordan Clarkson will lead the group that could include Julius Randle, the number two overall pick and the two other rookies who will be picked later in the draft.

The Lakers will ironically play the three other teams that were competing for the number one pick this past season. The Wolves, Lakers, Sixers and Knicks have the first four picks in the draft in that order. At least all those games will include a promising rookie. It should be fun to watch.
