Lakers: D’Angelo Russell Sings Lady Gaga In Postgame Interview (Video)

After Thursday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors, the Lakers were still in high spirits, as demonstrated by D’Angelo Russell’s post game singing

Not to beat a dead horse, but the Lakers are a completely different team than they were a month ago, heck, even a week ago. They are not the same Lakers who sulk, dwell in the past, and take every ounce of criticism personally.

Instead, they have become a resilient team that fights until the end and has fun while doing so. During their awful start to the first quarter of the season, post game Lakers’ players would often look defeated, even depressed at times. Come January 2016, that is no longer the case.

Even though at times they show disappointment with each other on the court, it has not translated to disagreement off the court which is always a good sign.

This is to say, it’s much easier for a team to play better on court, when they get along off court, just ask Dwight Howard and James Harden.

However, though all the Lakers seem to get along, the ultimate Lakers bromance is found in guard duo D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson, who just so happen to have neighboring lockers.

After Thursday night’s post game interviews, Russell video bombed Clarkson, hilariously singing Lady Gaga’s, “Paparazzi,” loud enough for the mics to pick up every syllable.

Clarkson’s response was almost as good as Russell’s singing, jokingly telling D’Angelo to that he needed to “shut up.”

The Lakers may be losing games, which ironically is a good thing, but their relationships off the court are better than ever and that should scare opponents. If they can still remain civil when losing, imagine how they’ll react when the wins starting piling up.
