2. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the most intriguing teams leading up to the 2016 NBA Trade Deadline as they are a team seemingly in desperate need of making a trade if they want to finish the regular season strong and, more importantly, be in a better position pushing forward. Moving Greg Monroe would go a long way in helping accomplish that, but that’s just something to keep in mind rather than Monroe being part of a trade for Hibbert.

Instead, the idea would be Hibbert coming to Milwaukee as the defensive-minded center that they need to return to a similar form to what they showed last season in addition to hitting restart in a way in regards to having cap room after Hibbert’s deal expires. Perhaps that’s almost too sensible, but the Bucks working like that at the deadline makes the most sense for their team.

As for what the Lakers would get in return, it’d again be a handful of expiring contracts of no real consequence. The big piece would be O.J. Mayo and his expiring $8 million with fodder along the way to get the deal done. Again, this trade doesn’t make a whole lot of sense if Greg Monroe stays in Milwaukee, but it’d be foolish for the Bucks to do that and the Lakers should try and move Hibbert to them if Milwaukee does indeed go about this wisely.
