3. Malcolm Brogdon

Yet another senior showing up on this list, Malcolm Brogdon is certainly the most decorated player of the bunch as the Virginia Cavaliers guard won ACC Player of the Year honors for his efforts in the regular season. Given the Lakers’ dire need for quality depth on the wing and for defense, Brogdon could truly be the perfect match for LA when they’re looking at possible selections in the second round of the draft.

In 33 games with the Wahoos this season, Brogdon was phenomenal on both ends of the floor. He averaged 18.7 points, 2.8 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game off of the wing while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent from deep. And though the senior only averaged 0.9 steals and 0.2 blocks per game, his defense has been praised time and again and rightfully so as he has the solid size, length, savvy, and physical abilities to match up with almost anyone on the wings.

Again looking at the Lakers’ needs on the wings and their need to add quality defenders to help sure up things on that end of the floor, Brogdon might be the perfect addition in the draft as he makes his way to the NBA. He’s projected to fall right in the range of the Lakers’ second-round pick and Los Angeles has to seriously take a long look at him during the tourney.
