In terms of just talent alone and the upside of many of these prospects, Jaylen Brown should probably be a top-5 pick. However, based on how he would fit with the teams picking outside of the top-3 or 4, I think he might be the Justise Winslow of sorts in this years draft where he falls down in the lottery a bit lower than some people might expect. That’s certainly good news for the Nuggets in this NBA mock draft, though.

For his one season with the Cal Golden Bears, Brown was quite productive in the minutes that he played and showed a ton of flashes of brilliance. In his 34 appearances, he put up 14.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, two assists, and 0.8 steals in 27.6 minutes per game. He hit on 48.2 percent of his two-point field goal attempts, but only 29.4 percent of his shots from deep. That being said, he’s an athletic wing with a ton of range and that can do a lot well.
When you look at a team like the Nuggets and all of their picks, they just have to add talent right now and a player like Brown would certainly be doing that.
