2. Ability To Finish At The Rim

Again, Brandon Ingram’s best attribute is definitely his ability to shoot from the perimeter. It is why so many scouts have even labeled him the best player in the draft. Surprisingly, however, his ability to drive toward the rim and finish is arguably just as highlight-worthy as Ben Simmons’.

When given the opportunity, Ingram threw down some vicious poster dunks, a surprising phenomena for someone so scrawny and premature in physical stature. But then again he is 6’10 with a 7’3 wingspan.

Ingram is also a dangerous threat in transition, able to finish at the rim with ease and even draw contact. On a young and presumably up-tempo team like the Lakers, fans will be treated to seeing more finishes like these on a nightly basis.

Just look at these last two clips and tell me it doesn’t remind you at least a little bit of the long strides that Kevin Durant takes before exploding to the basket in the open court.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but if inserted into the current Lakers core, this team would be a force to be reckoned with on the fast break where Coach Walton will likely encourage them to attack.
