3. Kevin Love
A name that has seemingly become increasingly complicated to predict the future of with each passing day is undoubtedly Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love. Anyone who watched Love with the Minnesota Timberwolves or saw him play this year in the postseason for the Cavs in the first two rounds knows what he’s capable of as a versatile offensive player and a fantastic overall rebounder.

However, his fit as a whole with Cleveland has rightfully been called into question on more than one occasion this season as his deficiencies on the defensive end of the floor have revealed themselves at times and his ability to fit in the same offense as LeBron James and Kyrie Irving have also been questioned.
As such, there’s at least a chance that the Lakers or some other team might be able to look at Love and try to coax him away from the Cavaliers this offseason. Even if there are other teams in pursuit, though, only the Lakers can offer an asset in return that’s as valuable as the No. 2 overall pick in this draft.
Yes, it’d take more than that to get any deal done—if there’s a deal to be made with Cleveland for Love at all. However, giving Love the spotlight again and making him a focal-point of an offense rather than a third-wheel could rejuvenate him and really make him a valuable asset moving forward for LA.
