NBA Draft 2016: Top 100 Prospects, Possible Lakers Targets
32. Cheick Diallo
Age: 19
Position: PF/C
School/Country: Kansas
Height: 6-9
Weight: 219 pounds
At a certain point with Cheick Diallo, I have to balance my distaste for him as a prospect and the way that his stock has risen. He’s a solid athlete with insane length despite being a tad undersized. Moreover, where the upside in his game lies is clear with his physical gifts. However, I just don’t think he’s a first-round talent—even if that’s where he ultimately comes off of the board.
31. Patrick McCaw
Age: 20
Position: SG
School/Country: UNLV
Height: 6-7
Weight: 181 pounds
At this point near the end of the first round and beginning of the second, there are going to be quite a few enigmatic players that we look at and Patrick McCaw is one of them. He has nice size at the two-guard, posted a 38-inch max vert at the NBA Draft combine, and produced well enough in two years at UNLV. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with him on draft night.

30. Diamond Stone
Age: 19
Position: C
School/Country: Maryland
Height: 6-10
Weight: 254 pounds
Diamond Stone is definitely another player that didn’t get any favors from the combine considering that his athleticism was notoriously absent and he measured nearly two inches below 7-0. However, Stone showed that he still has good length and strength to go with solid skill. It’ll be curious to see whether his youth and skill shines through in the draft or if it’s simply his lack of athleticism that reigns.
29. Dejounte Murray
Age: 19
Position: PG/SG
School/Country: Washington
Height: 6-5
Weight: 170 pounds
There are obviously a lot of players that slip under the radar for one reason or another and Dejounte Murray is that for me. In one year with the Huskies, Murray put up 16.1 points, 4.5 assists, six boards, and 1.8 steals per game. While his outside shooting is a question mark, I think he’s a player that will get serious looks from most teams around the league at his age and with his production right away in college.
