3. Kris Dunn

Age: 22
Position: PG
School/Country: Providence
Height: 6-4
Weight: 205

There’s no player in the 2016 NBA Draft that catches my eye quite in the way that Kris Dunn out of Providence does. The former Friars point guard just has a complete package of skills for his position and has so much command over his own game and the game itself that he seems like a can’t-s miss type of player.

One of the biggest things that you have to like about Dunn coming into the NBA after his junior season is that he was ready to come out a year ago. Instead, the point guard returned to school because he felt there were aspects of his game that he needed to refine before entering the pro ranks. That obviously helped him grow as a player, but it also shows the mature and thoughtful individual that at team is getting with a player like Dunn.

If the Lakers were to trade down or anything wild were to happen, Dunn would be an intriguing fit as he’d be a true point guard to pair alongside a combo guard like D’Angelo Russell for the future. That being said, I don’t think the Lakers take Dunn—though whoever does select him will be getting a stud prospect.
