Lakers Draft Prospect: Brandon Ingram Tweets “Uh Oh” Prior to Draft

If nerves weren’t already at an all time high, Lakers’ draft prospect, Brandon Ingram did his best to get them there early Thursday morning on Twitter

If you have been keeping up with the NBA draft prospects, then you know that Lakers’ hopeful, Brandon Ingram is a genuinely laid back guy even admitting that very little excites him.

Staying relatively low key on social media, at least in comparison to some of his other draft peers, Ingram did his best to give Lakers’ fans a heart attack with this ambiguous subtweet.

Upon seeing the Tweet completely out of context, here are a few reasons he could be “Uhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhh”-ing at 7:49AM on Draft Day:

  • In classic Shareef Abdur-Rahim fashion, the tailor messed up his suit and he forgot to get another pair of socks so he only has “white silk ones, the ones your uncle wears with shorts to picnics”
  • He asked his barber for the “Duke Starting 5” but he got confused and gave him the University of Michigan “Fab 5“
  • Zoe Kravitz saw his Tweet about her being his favorite actress and subsequently asked him on a date
  • He ran out of SpeedStick
  • He lost a bet about J.R. Smith going 60 straight days without wearing a shirt after winning the NBA Finals
  • He saw Ben Affleck freak out over “Deflategate” on Bill Simmons’ new show, Any Given Wednesday and it just so happened that Ben Affleck is his favorite actor and life coach
  • He just started watching the Game of Thrones latest episode “Battle of the Bastards” and can’t believe what’s happening

Okay, okay I’m done now.

To be completely honest, it probably had nothing to do with the draft at all but it sure is fun to speculate. Or maybe his agent told him that the Lakers are going to trade him and Jordan Clarkson for Jimmy Butler… only kidding.
