79. . PG. Oregon State. Gary Payton II. 46. player

Obviously you’d hope he becomes his father, but Payton is a tremendous athlete that could really make some noise as a reserve on a team like Dallas.

38. . SG. International. Isaia Cordinier. 47. player

Adding to the Magic’s need on the wings again, Cordinier is likely a stash for a year or so, but could have an impact down the line.

player. 24. . SG/SF. Syracuse. Michael Gbinije. 48

Gbinije could be a late riser, but he makes total sense as another selection on the wing for the Bulls as they need real depth there.

Kay Felder. 49. player. 64. . PG. Oakland

Give me everything about the diminutive and explosive Felder coming off of the bench in a Stan Van Gundy system. Everything.

Michigan. Caris LeVert. 50. player. 100. . PG/SG

LeVert was once a top prospect, but injuries and inconsistency have knocked him down a notch. Still, the Pacers could try to juice some value out of No. 50.

International. Georgios Papagiannis. 51. player. 18. . C

Papagiannis is an import gaining steam in regards to his draft stock and the Celts need for a big man could lead to them taking a swing here.

Isaiah Whitehead. 52. player. 118. . SG. Seton Hall

Whitehead’s measurables aren’t great, but he put up big numbers in college and could benefit from being in an NBA system rather than at Seton Hall.

SG. Kansas. Wayne Selden. 53. player. 73.

Like LeVert, Selden was once a big name prospect whose star has dimmed substantially. However, throwing him into the fold for Denver would be a nice experiment.

Jake Layman. 54. player. 125. . SF. Maryland

Personally, I would pass on Layman. But his measurables make him interesting and the Hawks could potentially make use of him with the right development.

. PG. North Carolina State. Cat Barber. 55. player. 147

Anthony “Cat” Barber knows how to fill up the cup and could be a great addition to the lacking Nets backcourt.

. SF/PF. Boise State. James Webb III. 56. player. 73

Webb really has scouts divided on what he could be, but I see him having real value once he’s put on an NBA weight program.

211. . PF. Weber State. Joel Bolomboy. 57. player

Bolomboy was playing at a small school in Weber State, but dominated all the same. I’d love to see what Memphis could do with him.

International. Andrey Desyatnikov. 58. player. 18. . C

Another big man, another stash for Boston.

67. . SF. Florida. Dorian Finney-Smith. 59. player

The Kings love a good athlete on the wing and Finney-Smith brings that to the table without question. He has upside and I actually like the fit in Sactown.

player. 118. . PF. Notre Dame. Zach Auguste. 60

Maybe Auguste slips out of this draft, but I think he’s way too talented of a player for someone to not take a shot on him. If he doesn’t get drafted, though, I’d love to see how he works to make a roster moving forward.

That’s all she wrote for the draft. There’s always the chance for madness in a year like this, though. But even in the madness, the Lakers look primed to drastically improve their future.
