3. Brandon Ingram

For those Lakers fans expecting the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft in Brandon Ingram to average 30 points and 20 rebounds per game at Summer League, Vegas was a very disappointing time. Though Ingram undoubtedly showed flashes of brilliance throughout his time with the Lakers, he also clearly looked like an 18-year-old on more than one occasion.

Ingram’s performance in Summer League was definitely the type that will leave fans a bit torn. As far as the good things go, you could see just how massive the potential is for the young Duke product. His length is absolutely absurd and serves as a weapon on both ends of the floor, allowing him to slice through the defense and get to the rim with ease and allowing him to really cause problems on the defensive end both on the perimeter and at the rim.

However, it wasn’t pretty for most of the week watching Ingram shoot the ball for much of the weekend as it never really fell after the first game of the weekend. Part of that was obviously the fact that he’s not accustomed to this schedule, but also it was due to the fact that his frame is an issue right now. He’s going to have to become more durable and stronger physically, but the potential that was obvious still makes him a guy who stood out.
