The Great Timofey Mozgov

OK. Before you boycott the rest of my articles, let me explain myself. My love for basketball is at a fundamentalist and purist level. I would rather see a solid ball screen and correct footwork than the fanciest of cross-overs and the nastiest of dunks. I love the flashy parts of the game just as much as the next man, but the solid fundamentals will also hold a special place in heart.

Now that that’s out of the way…..Mozgov is amazing in NBA 2K17. From a defense and rebounding standpoint, the Lakers seem to have made the right choice with this one. Mozgov is often times the only thing stopping my games from being Harlem Globetrotter exhibition matches. In the games I’ve played, Mozgov is averaging a solid 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. Also, the Russian center has also racked up a fair amount of blocks with about 2.5 per game.

The thing I love most about 2K17 Timofey Mozgov is the consistency. I know that every game will feature him with a near double-double and enough defense to help me win. Also, my very first play of my very first game was a three point splash from Mozzie. I kid you not. So if you’re the type of 2K player that likes to play as the center and patrol the paint, Mozgov and the Lakers are the right choice.
