Honorable Mentions: Brad Stevens, Scott Brooks

As much as it hurts Lakers fans to say this, Mike D’Antoni is actually a really good NBA coach. Not only did he turn a decent Rockets team into a serious title, but he took James Harden’s game to another level that no one knew existed except for Pringles himself.

The ultimate test for D’Antoni will be the playoffs. He should be able to make it past the first round with ease barring any major collapses and/or a very angry Russell Westbrook. After that, your guess is as good as mine when it comes to how far they go.

Can they dethrone the Spurs and get all of Texas to rally behind them in the Western Conference Finals? Stay tuned (but probably not).
