Star To Lead The Way

The Lakers are under new management with Magic Johnson as President of Basketball Operations and Rob Pelinka as general manager. They want to bring the organization back to prominence, and James would help them do that.

The Lakers current roster has some intriguing young talent. But, Johnson does not believe that there is a current star among the bunch; only Brandon Ingram is considered to be untouchable by Johnson. James would instantly change that, as there aren’t many if any, bigger stars in the NBA or world of basketball.

Landing James would instantly legitimize the Lakers franchise again. He would also provide a great example for the young Lakers to follow and bring a ton of experience along with him. The Lakers have a lot of young player finding their way in the NBA; James could help them realize their potential and take their game to the next level.

James won’t play forever. But, he still looks to have a few good years in him. Imagine how much he could help a developing small forward such as Brandon Ingram. Do you think D’Angelo Russell or Jordan Clarkson could learn a thing or two about running an offense from one of the best distributors in the NBA?

Bringing in James would be a great move for any team that can afford it. He brings so much both on and off the court that an organization would benefit from.
