Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies have some interesting free agents to deal with this year. Their free agents are Tony Allen, Vince Carter, JaMychal Green, and Zach Randolph.

Allen or Carter is probably leaving this summer or maybe even both. In any case, the Grizzlies will be left with a hole at the wing position. Young could come in and fill that position as the Grizzlies also have a need for shooters.

With Marc Gasol and Randolph in the post, Young should get good looks standing behind the three-point line. Young could be the addition that the Grizzlies were hoping when they signed Chandler Parsons to a four-year, $94 million dollar max contract last summer.

Since signing that deal, Parsons has unable to stay healthy and played in 34 games last season in a Grizzlies uniform before a season-ending meniscus tear. He averaged 6.5 points on 33% shooting from the field and nearly 27% from three.

Acquiring Young will help fill the hole at the wing position and give them both scoring and shooting that the Grizzlies could use. Also, in the case that Parsons returns to form, the Grizzlies could be rolling with some more offensive firepower. If the Grizzlies can stay healthy, they can be a strong dark horse contender in the loaded Western Conference.
