The Lakers selected Bryant with the 42nd pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He is an intriguing prospect for the Lakers given his insane length and potential to be a stretch-center in the NBA.

Bryant has a 7-feet-6 inch wingspan, giving him a ton of potential as a rim protector and rebounder. He averaged 1.5 blocks per game at Indiana. He also showed he can knock down three-pointers at Indiana, making 38.3 percent of his shots. Not only would he stretch the floor, Bryant has shown an ability to score near the basket as well.

Bryant is a player to keep an eye on as he could be ticketed to the G-League to start the season given Brook Lopez’s presence on the roster.

But, if Bryant plays well, he could head into training camp with a legitimate chance of sneaking onto the end of the bench. Bryant could benefit if the Lakers decide Zubac doesn’t need much run and rest him at some point.

Bryant plays hard and works hard as well. But, his lack of athleticism could be what hurts him at the next level. Given his length and size, there is a ton of potential here for the Lakers to have found a gem in the second round.
