John Wall vs. Lonzo Ball
The most anticipated matchup of the night will be at the point guard position. Like every night in his NBA career so far, all eyes will be on Lonzo Ball. Since Ball has received so much attention early on in his career, it has put a bit of a target on his back. In the first game of the season, we saw Patrick Beverley try to get in the head of Ball with some physical play. Even though Ball didn’t have a great game against Beverley, he did show a lot of composure not to react to Beverley’s antics.
On Wednesday, Ball will be facing the best point guard that he has played to date. Even though the other three points guards Ball has played are good players, John Wall is one of the best in the NBA.

Earlier in the week, Marcin Gortat tweeted that Wall was going to torture Ball in this matchup. Wall didn’t shy away from having a little extra motivation going against Ball. This will certainly be a tough matchup for Ball, but he has been playing rather well through three games. Thanks to the tweets from Gortat, we might see two players really going at it on Wednesday night. If Ball can play toe-to-toe with Wall, he will certainly earn a lot of respect around the NBA.
