1: June 15, 2010 – Lakers control Celtics 89-67 in Game 6 of 2010 NBA Finals at STAPLES Center

Before there could be a Game 7 or a 16th Lakers championship, there was a Game 6. As far as I am concerned, it is always more difficult to win something when you are down, rather than when you are tied or up. Heading back to STAPLES Center from Boston, the Lakers found themselves in a hole as they were down 3-2 in the 2010 NBA Finals.

When they relied on their hero the most, he showed up. Unlike Game 7, in Game 6 Kobe was his normal killer self. With the season on the line, he rallied his team to a 22-point win. The Mamba not only performed with his stats but used his high basketball I.Q. and defensive poise to push the series to a Game 7.

Bryant would finish the game with 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and four steals while shooting 47.4 percent from the floor and 7/7 from the line.

Regardless of where you rank his performances, there is one thing we can all agree on – when Kobe saw the Celtics on the court, he was always ready to go all out.
