Matchup No. 2: Brandon Ingram vs T.J. Warren

Both the Lakers and Suns have a ton of young, budding talent. Some of that talent is at the small forward position where two of them, Brandon Ingram and T.J. Warren, will be matching up.

Ingram is showing vast improvements from his rookie season. He looks more confident offensively and is playing better on both ends of the court. Warren was expected to be a breakout player last season, but injuries derailed him. The breakout is fully underway this season for the former NC State standout.

Warren is having a career season thus far. He is averaging 18.4 points per game, giving the Suns another legitimate go-to option alongside Booker. What makes it even more impressive is that he accomplishes it with no range on his jump shot. Warren has made only two three-pointers all season but has found success at the rim and in the mid-range.

Ingram will have his hands full trying to slow down the bigger and stronger Warren. In the first matchup, Warren scored 24 points. That goes both ways, though, as Ingram had his best scoring game of the season against Warren and the Suns. Ingram scored 25 points on 9-of-14 from the field, making 3-of-4 from deep.

This matchup will be a lot of fun to watch. Both players can score the ball. It will come down to which player can slow the other one down enough defensively.
