Lonzo Ball
In the past few weeks, there has been a lot of criticism toward Lonzo Ball. Mainly due to his scoring woes, Ball has been an easy target for the media. However, he is still just a rookie and he is going to have his fair share of struggles this season. Last season, Brandon Ingram really struggled at times as a rookie, and we have seen a much-improved player this season.
Despite some bad games recently, Ball did nearly record a triple-double against the Suns in the second game of his career. However, the last time out against the Suns wasn’t nearly as good for Ball. In the win, Ball sat in the fourth quarter, and he struggled when he was on the court.
In the last game, Ball totaled seven points, five rebounds, and five assists. As mentioned before, Ball didn’t shoot the basketball very well in this game, and Luke Walton elected to go with the red-hot Jordan Clarkson down the stretch.
Since the Suns are not known for their defensive prowess, this would be a good opportunity for Ball to get some confidence back. Rather than taking a ton of 3-pointers, it would be good to see Ball attack the rim and look for some easy buckets.
