Los Angeles Lakers
BOSTON, MA – NOVEMBER 8: Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson

Arguably the best player for the Lakers so far this season has been Jordan Clarkson. As a potential Sixth Man of the Year candidate, Clarkson is playing extremely well for the Lakers off the bench.

This season, Clarkson is averaging 15.8 points per game, which currently leads the team. The real impressive thing about Clarkson has been his ability to score efficiently and in limited minutes. While he has played more recently, Clarkson is still only averaging 22 minutes per game.

The Lakers rely heavily on Clarkson to provide a scoring punch off the bench, and he has certainly done so for them this season. With the struggles of Ball lately, Clarkson has actually been closing out games for the Lakers in their last two.

Against the Suns, Clarkson scored 25 points and was the point guard down the stretch for the Lakers in the win. In the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Clarkson was able to score 20 and once again be on the floor down the stretch.

After scoring at least 20 points in his last two games, Clarkson is certainly poised for another big night. The Suns had no answer for him in their last game, and he should be able to have another big scoring night for the Lakers.
