ONTARIO, CA – OCTOBER 04: Vander Blue (Josh Lefkowitz/Getty Images)

SG Vander Blue

Vander Blue was a huge reason why the Lakers won the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League Championship. The former Marquette talent made his presence known over the summer. He finished with 15 points a game paired along with a 50 percent from the floor.

Believe it or not, Blue played with the East Coast rival Boston Celtics before playing in a Laker uniform. In two games during the 2014-15 season, Blue played a total of 74 minutes and averaged 11 points a game. Vander Blue has the ability to score in a crossfire. Blue contains a blueprint for perfect balance among his body and is a great pick and roll handler.

Still, Blue has not done much as a member of the Lakers. There is much more than the Lakers need to see for him to be a part of the future. The reigning NBA G-League MVP will more than likely not get a shot with the Lakers unless multiple injuries arise in the backcourt.
