Los Angeles Lakers: Tyler Ennis has had positive impact on Lonzo Ball

PG Tyler Ennis

I still remember when the new Nike jerseys were implemented during the preseason. Tyler Ennis was among the unfortunate to see his ripped apart to shreds. The Lakers backup point guard played in only insufficient or garbage time this season.

Ennis has played well on defense. He posts an 83.3 DEF RTG, a 20 point improvement from last season. His offense has also sparked. When serving as a backup option for Lonzo Ball, Ennis’ assist to turnover is also an improvement at 2.67.

The former first-round pick has played well. Although he is not doing much on the floor, Ennis remains an average point guard stashed on a deep bench in case of emergency.
