PHOENIX, AZ – OCTOBER 20: Corey Brewer (Christian Petersen/Getty Images) /

SF/SG Corey Brewer

Just like his swagger and feel for slamming it down on the fastbreak, Corey Brewer is a hilarious, fun-to-watch player. His defense can be spotty, but his acceleration allows him to go on a one-man fast break that most players in the NBA cannot.

The Lakers love one-year rentals, and Brewer fits right in with the Lakers timeline. He is a veteran who is willing to give energy and is a presence on the defensive side. Brewer already hosts multiple highlight reels on his steals, on which he is currently averaging one per game off the bench.

His 3-point shooting could be better. Although Brewer has not averaged over 30 percent shooting from the perimeter, he does have instances of catching fire (tenure in Houston).

Brewer might not end up as a Laker next season, but his astounding role play of the bench certainly helps his stock as free agency is looming.
