Los Angeles Lakers vs Philadelphia 76ers: 3 Players to watch on Thursday night
By Nick Ziegler
Brandon Ingram
Even though things have been going badly for the Lakers recently on their five-game losing, one of the bright spots has been Brandon Ingram. In his second season, Ingram is beginning to show some of that unlimited potential that resulted in him being a top pick by the Lakers.
Recently, Ingram had the best game of his career against the Golden State Warriors in a highly anticipated matchup against Kevin Durant. In that game, Ingram was able to total a career-high of 32 points.
For about the last month, Ingram has been playing at a very high level for the Lakers. He has shown a lot of aggressiveness going to the basket, and that has resulted in him getting more layups and also drawing more fouls.
While Simmons and Embiid received a lot of the attention in the first game, Ingram performed very well in that game as well. We might be starting to see Ingram reach his potential with the Lakers, as he is certainly playing at a very high level right now. With the team needing a win to snap this losing streak, expect Ingram to try and help carry them to one on the road against a tough opponent.
