Limited Turnovers

One of the Lakers more glaring concerns this season has been turnovers. The team headed into the game ranking second-worst in the league at holding the ball as they averaged 17 turnovers per game. Fortunately, however, that was not a problem for the Purple and Gold last night.

The team put on a beautiful display of caring for the basketball as they only had 10 turnovers – their lowest of the season. Moreover, the bench only had one turnover. The team also did a great job of sharing the ball as they recorded 27 assists.

The Lakers’ limited turnovers also helped them control the pace of the game as they only had 17 points off turnovers. Additionally, the team also held the Rockets to only six fast break points.
