Sharp Three-Point Shooting

Similar to turnovers, the Lakers headed into the matchup as the league’s worst three-point shooting team. The team stands alone at the bottom with an awful 32.3 percent success rate. Last night, however, L.A. had no problem knocking down triples.

The Lakers tied a season-high 15 three-pointers. The team also shot quite efficiently as they connected on 42.9 percent of their outside shots. To put that into perspective, that is the fourth-highest rate the team has had all season.

Additionally, seven of these 15 three-pointers came from Kyle Kuzma. Speaking of which, let us move on to our last takeaway.
