Los Angeles Lakers
LOS ANGELES, CA – DECEMBER 23: Kyle Kuzma

– Young players keep getting better

For the Lakers, making the playoffs this year was an unrealistic goal in the deep and talented Western Conference. Despite the roster getting better, this is still a team that has some work to do before they are ready to compete for a playoff spot.

With a lot of young talent on the team, Lakers fans will just want to continue to see these young players improve. Despite not being a great team, there is a lot of energy surrounding the franchise, and that is because of the young talent.

Brandon Ingram is one of the players that has already taken a big leap in his second year. This season, Ingram has been a completely different player, as he is one of the leading scorers for the team. In addition to Ingram, the Lakers have a really strong rookie class with Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Josh Hart. All three have looked good in their rookie seasons, and there is an encouraging young core developing for the Lakers.

Overall, Lakers fans would just love to see their young players continue to improve. Asking Santa for that is a very modest request.
