Brandon Ingram’s Consistency

Most of the Lakers’ wins this season have revolved around the importance of role players and bench production. Last night, however, the stars – Ingram and Ball – carried the load and led the team to victory. First let’s take a look at Ingram.

As I mentioned before, Brandon scored a game-high 26 points. He shot 52.4 percent from the floor and 40 percent from deep. Additionally, he added in three rebounds and three assists. Ingram also played great in the important moments of the game as he had nine points in the first quarter, and four points and an assist in the last five minutes of the game.

After last night’s performance, B.I. has now scored 20 or more points in three of the last four games. This is the second time that he has done that this season and in his career. Moreover, Ingram has shot an insane 60 percent while averaging 20.8 points over the four-game span.

If Brandon can continue to score 20+ points on efficient shooting, the Lakers’ may extend their win streak and that bright future may be closer than it seems.
