Julius Randle

Julius Randle has been great for the Lakers this season. There have been a few shortcomings this season, such as his dislike for coming off the bench earlier in the season. Also, constant trade rumors that he has been involved in. Despite that, Randle is putting together arguably the best season of his career.

Despite playing the fewest minutes per game in his career, Randle is putting up some impressive statistics. The 23.6 minutes per game are a career-low, but he is averaging a career-high 13.6 points per game. Along with that, he is averaging 7.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.

In the first meeting against the Celtics, Randle was outstanding. In 21 minutes, he scored 16 points with 12 rebounds, adding two assists and one steal as well. In that game, he came off the bench, but he has been playing in the starting five recently.

Randle is coming into this matchup off one of his best games of the season. He played 37 minutes against the Knicks and dominated, scoring 27 points with 12 rebounds and five assists. Randle has an impressive skill set as he can do a little bit of everything.

He will more than likely be matched up with Marcus Morris throughout the evening. It will be a matchup to keep an eye on as Morris has the size and athleticism to stick with Randle. However, with how well Randle has been playing, it may not matter who is matching up across from him.
