Los Angeles Lakers: Preview of upcoming 5 Game road trip
ORLANDO, FL – JANUARY 16: Aaron Gordon

Orlando Magic

Current Record: 14-33

Notable Streak: Have lost eight of their last 10 games, but those two wins came against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics.

Player to watch: Aaron Gordon

Aaron Gordon is a candidate for most improved player of the year. He is averaging 18.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, which are all career highs.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Lakers plan to defend him and Nikola Vučević. The Magic started off the season hot but have been abysmal ever since. The Lakers need to take advantage of the opportunity and get a road win against a bad team.

Last time the Lakers played the Magic was January 8th, 2017 with the Lakers winning 111-95. Ingram put up 17 points in 27 minutes in the game, so look for him to have another good one against them.
