– Moritz Wagner
One of the most recognizable players in the Final Four is Michigan center, Moritz Wagner. Of the four teams remaining, Wagner is a very talented prospect to keep an eye on. At 6’11”, Wagner has the size to play power forward or center at the next level.
With most big men now, teams like them to be able to stretch the floor with their jump shot for more spacing. Wagner is certainly capable of doing this, as he averages 4.0 3-point attempts per game. Considering his size, Wagner shoots it very well from deep at just over 39 percent.
With Brook Lopez being a free agent this offseason, the Lakers might have a need for a big man. Like Lopez, Wagner would be able to stretch the floor as a big man depending on what type of lineup the Lakers would like to use.
When Wagner is playing well for Michigan they are a very difficult team to beat. Unfortunately, Wagner has been a bit inconsistent in his three seasons at Michigan. As of now, Wagner is projected as a second-round pick, which makes him a possibility for the Lakers. With a good performance in the Final Four, Wagner can help his draft stock as one of the best big men in the country.
