– Mikal Bridges

Easily the top NBA prospect that will be on the floor in San Antonio is Mikal Bridges from Villanova. While Bridges is only a Junior, he is projected by many to be a Top-10 pick, and that will likely mean that he will be looking to make the jump to the NBA. Even though it is no guarantee that Bridges enters the draft, his stock is certainly high, and will likely only be higher with a National Championship.

This season, Bridges is averaging 17.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. On a very talented Villanova team, Bridges has looked like the best player on the team many times this season, and that is even with him playing next to the great Jalen Brunson.

Even though Bridges played nearly 30 minutes per game last season, he has seen a massive jump in his production this season. As a sophomore, Bridges averaged under 10 points per game, as Bridges’ jump in production is similar to that of Josh hart’s with Villanova.

Next: 3 Things to watch for the rest of the season

While Bridges hasn’t had a great NCAA Tournament, he is arguably the best player that will be on the court during the Final Four. Even though the Lakers will likely have no chance at drafting him, he is certainly a player all teams will be watching.
