Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball showed some flashes in his first season in the NBA. We break down his five greatest games this season!

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball might not have been the best rookie of the 2017-18 season, but he was probably the most talked about.

After the expectations placed on him before the season by Lakers fans, Magic Johnson, and his dad, LaVar Ball, it was going to be interesting to see how well he performed.

He came out of UCLA with a lot of hype surrounding him, but It didn’t start off too well (except for number one on this list) and it didn’t end well either. This prompted NBA fans all over to criticize him all season long, just because of the spotlight put upon him.

However, Lonzo did show some flashes throughout the season of a potentially great NBA point guard. His shooting efficiency may have been up-and-down all season, but he always came to play on the defensive end and showed great court vision while handling the ball. These traits always allowed Lonzo to put up a decent stat line regardless of his shooting.

Although there were a lot of rough games for Lonzo, here are some games where the shooting, passing, rebounding, and defense all came together for Lonzo’s top five games of the season.
