December 22nd: Lakers @ Warriors (L, 113-106)

27 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 block 9/15 on field goals, 3/6 on 3s

The Lakers were going into this game with some momentum as they had just ended the Houston Rockets’ 14-game winning streak in Houston (more on that later). Lonzo Ball even brought his shot to this game against the Warriors, scoring 24 points.

Kyle Kuzma added his third best game of the season, but per usual, it wasn’t enough to top the defending champs.

Kuzma had one of his seventeen double-doubles on the season while adding a couple steals, a block, and an assist. It was one of the most efficient shooting nights of the season for Kuz, as he shot 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point land.

Kuzma helped a Lakers comeback during the 4th quarter that brought them back from as many as 23 points in the 3rd quarter. With 9:39 left in the game Kuzma cut the lead to 86-81 on a layup off of a Josh Hart steal. Along with the other players, it showed Kuzma’s unwillingness to lie down, and how he continues to shoot and attack no matter the situation.
