2. Kansas PG, Devonte Graham

Devonte Graham had an excellent career with the Kansas Jayhawks. He was left to shoulder a lot of the load this past season with Frank Mason moving onto the NBA and he responded with a great senior season.

Graham was named Big 12 Player of the Year and rightfully so. He averaged an impressive 17.3 points, 7.2 assists 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. You know what you are getting with Graham on the court.

He is a solid shooter, making 40.9 percent of his 3-point attempts in his collegiate career. However, he struggles inside the arc, as he shot better a better percentage from distance as a senior compared to his 2-pointers. That is a red flag, as his Graham’s size impacts his game the closer he gets to the rim.

Adding some more strength would help him on both ends of the court. He is a decent defender, but his size hurts him at times on that end of the court as well. Graham has proven his ability to run a team and leading Kansas to the Final Four without Mason as his running mate was a good accomplishment.

Graham will undoubtedly be drafted, most likely somewhere in the second round. Depending on what the Lakers do with their first-round pick, Graham could be in play in the second round. The backcourt needs some cheap, affordable talent and Graham could provide that at the No. 47 pick.
