– Good Shooter

One of the reasons for some of the Lakers’ struggles last season was their woes shooting the ball. The Lakers played at a very fun and fast pace last season, but shooting the ball, especially from deep was a weakness.

The Lakers finished the season second to last in three-point shooting percentage, as they were only better than the Phoenix Suns. As a team, the Lakers didn’t have one rotation player shoot over 40 percent from three-point range, which isn’t a recipe for success in the NBA nowadays.

As a rookie, Hart was actually the team-leader in three-point percentage, and Brandon Ingram was a close second. With Lonzo Ball being an excellent passer, surrounding him with shooters would only help him thrive, and make the Lakers a dynamic offense.

Last year at Villanova, DiVincenzo shot just over 40 percent from the three-point line, as he would be a good shooter to play alongside Ball. In addition to being a good shooter from deep, DiVincenzo had an impressive 48.1 field goal percentage overall, which is good for a guard.
